Due to these conditions – it likes a wet, humid environment and is more shade-tolerant than other bonsai trees. The key to caring for a Snowrose Bonsai is to ensure the soil is always evenly moist. If you notice the top soil is dry, water immediately.

About Snow Rose Bonsai (Serissa)

Snow Rose Bonsai (Serissa) is native to open sub-tropical woodlands in southeast Asia, from India, and China to Japan. Due to these conditions – it likes a wet, humid environment and enjoys full-sun. Serissa is an evergreen / semi-evergreen bonsai tree known for it’s soft oval leaves, beautiful flowers and rough silvery bark. This bonsai tree is not tolerant of cold temperatures. You can take it outside in a bright sunny spot during the warmer summer months – but temperatures need to be kept above 10°C at all times.

I ordered a Kentia Palm from Oxy-Plants. I chose Oxy because they were by fair the best value for money and the most efficient in processing and delivering my new plant baby. I ordered on the Thursday and it arrives on the Monday.I was half expecting the plant to be dehydrated or lost its zest for life. HOWEVER, I couldn't have been more wrong; dark healthy green leaves, beautiful shape to the body of the plant and all planted in a fairly moist post of potting compost.Wrll done Oxy, you've got a customer for life in me now! 😁
