I ordered a Kentia Palm from Oxy-Plants. I chose Oxy because they were by fair the best value for money and the most efficient in processing and delivering my new plant baby. I ordered on the Thursday and it arrives on the Monday.I was half expecting the plant to be dehydrated or lost its zest for life. HOWEVER, I couldn't have been more wrong; dark healthy green leaves, beautiful shape to the body of the plant and all planted in a fairly moist post of potting compost.Wrll done Oxy, you've got a customer for life in me now! 😁

Very quick with responding to any problems, plants arrived healthy and well packed, unfortunately one large pot was broken in transit, but this was very quickly sorted out by Marika and a new pot sent out, I would highly recommend oxy plants.

A good selection of plants and just what I was looking for. They were despatched quickly but due to a problem with the courier I had to wait longer than expected for them. That was disappointing. Overall customer service was good. More care needs to be taken by the courier service as when the plants did arrive the box was on its side at the back of the van.

How To Care For Heartleaf Philodendron
Water when the top couple of inches dry out. You want to really avoid over-watering your heartleaf philodendron to prevent root-rot.
A brightly lit location with little or no direct sun is best, but it will be fine in a darker area. Take note that the chance of rootrot is higher when put in a darker place.
This plant does alright in average room humidity, but you can increase the humidity with a pebble tray or misting the plant every now and then.
Philodendron scandens loves a soil with loam, sand and peat in equal parts.
Use a basic houseplant feed once a forthnight in spring and summer. Reduce to once a month during autumn and winter.
Check occasionally for spider mites and mealybugs as these are the most common pests for this plant.

About Heartleaf Philodendron
The Heartleaf Philodendron is a popular hanging plant because of its romantic heart-shaped leaves. It has a ferocious appetite for growth and will happily trail from any bright spot. Philodendron Scandens are easily propagated by taking cuttings at leaf nodes and allowing roots to develop, meaning it can be the gift that keeps on giving (if you have the patience and dedication).
We have 2 varieties of the Heartleaf Philodendron, including the variegated ‘Brazil’ version. If the heart-shaped leaves of the philodendron weren’t beautiful enough already, the variegated version takes it’s beauty to another level. If you can’t think of where would be good to keep your hanging plant, you can always consider adding a floating shelf.
